Touring Pitches with electric hook-up

Dalraddy Touring Park, Aviemore, Cairngorms National Park

What is a Seasonal Touring Pitch?

If you have a touring caravan or motorhome and are looking to stay in the area for more than just a pit-stop this could be for you.

A Seasonal Pitch is a pitch on our touring park which is rented out on a more long term basis, usually for 3 whole calendar months at a time – hence the term; Seasonal Pitch. All our touring pitches are hard standing, and all have an EHU which simply means electrical hook-up. Drinking water is available throughout the park. You will also find chemical waste and grey waste facilities.

Essentially this presents regular visitors to the area with a no hassle pitch which is extremely good value for money. So, it’s not just for those who don’t like towing!

A touring caravan at Dalraddy Holiday Park (booked as a Seasonal Pitch) makes an ideal base to then go off and explore the Highlands during late autumn, winter and/or spring. Great for winter sports. Ideal for those who love wildlife and the outdoors in all weather conditions. Or perhaps you have family living locally and would like to visit them more often.

How much is a Seasonal Touring Pitch?

Seasonal Pitches are charged per calendar month, from the 1st of the month to the last day in the month, regardless of how many nights you may use the caravan or motorhome, and regardless of how many people / children / pets etc.

Currently, each payment per calendar month should be received on or by the 1st of the month. Late payments will end the contract/agreement you have entered into with the Park. Amounts owed to the Park will incur interest.

Electric usage will also be billed per month. Electric is metered and costs 0.25p per unit plus 5% VAT.

Electric meters are read at the end of each month so customers can pay both electric usage and seasonal booking fees together.

When are Seasonal Touring Pitches Available?

September is the first month of our seasonal period.

Initially you must book for 3 months, this qualifies you for the special rates. After the first 3 months you can extend your stay until June.

June is the last month of the Seasonal Touring period. If your contract states, for example, October until April, you should make arrangements to remove your caravan before the 1st of May. If you remain on pitch longer than your contract/agreement states you will be liable to pay full touring rates.

The Next Step…

We would love to hear from you if you are interested in our seasonal touring pitches, October to May, or if you would like to add your details to our waiting list for a yearly seasonal pitch. Don’t forget, any day will do as we are open 7 days, a week all year round!
