The Cairngorms National Park is the perfect place for a holiday no matter how young or old you are and how adventurous or sedate you like your activities. From zip wires and skiing to walking, fishing and bird-watching, there’s plenty to do both on the campsite and within easy reach of Dalraddy.

On the campsite

On Alvie & Dalraddy Estate you can test your skills at archery with qualified onsite instructor. Cairngorm Archery has its own website and sessions run throughout the year.

Clan Warfare Paintball may just bring out the warrior in your group, such a great way to spend a day if your visiting with your mates. Find out more online at their website.

Alvie & Dalraddy Estates

Alvie Estate, just a couple of miles down the road from Dalraddy, provides lots more activities from traditional estate sports to extreme thrills. Why not try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, accompany the Keeper as he feeds the wild deer (December to March only), take a tour of the estate.

Alvie Estate also offers fishing, by boat or from the bank. You can fish for Salmon, Arctic Char, Brown Trout, Sea Trout and Pike in our lochs or River Spey beats. Click here to find out more.

Zip Trek Park

Fly over gorges and skim the tops of ancient Scottish pines at up to 40 kph on the 2 km zip wire.  Minimum age 5, no unaccompanied children under 13.
